Pre-orientation

RSVP to the Orientation Day | Confirm your attendance for the scheduled event and ensure that you receive all necessary information and updates related to the orientation event
Get your IT equipment and basic digital skills | Make sure you have access to a laptop or computer as you require this to be able to study effectively on all our courses. You also need basic digital skills in using software such as Office 365. We offer IT assistance for Stirling applications.
Make sure you have the support you need | If you have a disability or specific learning difficulties for which you may need support, please contact our Student Support team at [email protected].
Plan your Finances | Understand the total cost, plan for payment plans, and consider speaking with your university’s finance office for guidance and planning.
Arrange your Accommodation | If you haven’t already sorted out accommodation, then check out your on- and off-campus options now.
Plan your Transportation | Explore transportation options and do a travel test before the semester starts to determine travel time and identify any potential issues.
Stay informed | Check your email regularly and ask questions if something is unclear or if you have concerns.

Briefing Session | This session is to brief new students on key information about campus life, academic policies, and student resources.
Meet your Academic Mentors and other staff supporters | This is an opportunity to connect with the key staff members who will guide you throughout your academic journey. Your mentors are committed to providing guidance, advice, and assistance throughout your tenure at the university.
 Explore Your Campus | This will be an opportunity to know more about your campus and take a tour of various facilities and get familiar with your new environment.
Embrace Your New Environment | We invite you to participate in various university events, social engagements, and campus activities which will help you in your overall personality development.
Connect with Others | As you begin your journey at Stirling, engaging with classmates is a key part which will help you form meaningful connections, make new friends, and create a supportive network that enhances your overall experience.
Important Information | Participate in workshops and sessions to learn key details about your class schedule, campus facilities, and available student support services.
