Ms. Annette Nayana Nellyet is an experienced academician, researcher, and certified AI and Data Science professional with over 10 years of academic, research, curriculum development, and industry-linked experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Emerging Technologies.
Annette Nellyet currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Stirling, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, delivering advanced, industry-aligned modules in Data Science, Natural Language Processing, and related computing disciplines, and is actively engaged in curriculum enhancement, faculty development, research supervision, industry-academia collaboration, and AI-enabled teaching practices.
Annette Nellyet is a Ph.D. Scholar in Computer Science at Manav Rachna University, India. Core academic and research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Generative AI, Large Language Models, Computer Vision, Data Science, Big Data Analytics, Image Processing, and Decentralized Systems. MOHESR Equivalency in the UAE has also been obtained.
A Master of Technology (M.Tech) in VLSI and Embedded Systems was completed at NMAM Institute of Technology, NITTE University, India, graduating with First Class with Distinction, with postgraduate research focused on Target Detection in Satellite Images, applied to computer vision and image processing. A Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering was also completed at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Visvesvaraya Technological University, India, with First Class with Distinction.
Academic teaching experience spans the UAE and India, including the current role as Assistant Professor in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Stirling, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, held since 2024. Prior to this, Annette Nellyet served as Assistant Professor in Data Science and AI at Britts Imperial University College, alongside earlier faculty and coordination roles in India.
