Our computing science degree course has a practical, problem solving approach.

Students will also develop a firm understanding of how computers work as well as effective computer programming. This course provides a firm foundation in the design and development of software and information systems with particular emphasis on networking, data communications, databases, computer systems, software engineering, multimedia and Human Computer Interaction (HCI).

BSc (Hons) graduates are fully accredited by the British Computer Society for the educational requirements of being a Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP), which is the Society’s professional member level.
