Dr. Dhanya Sudarsan

Dr. Dhanya Sudarsan is an experienced academician with over 11 years of teaching experience in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology.

Dr. Sudarsan holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science (Machine Learning and Image Processing) from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), India, with strong foundational expertise in Computer Science. Dr. Sudarsan’s major research specializations include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Image Processing, and Data Science. Dr. Sudarsan has also obtained MOHESR Equivalency in the UAE.

Dr. Sudarsan completed a Master’s degree (M.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Information Technology from CUSAT.

Dr. Sudarsan possesses over 11 years of academic teaching experience and is presently working as an Assistant Professor at the University of Stirling, Ras Al Khaimah Campus (since 2026). Prior to this, Dr. Sudarsan worked as an Assistant Professor at Jaipur National University, Ras Al Khaimah; Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science, India; Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, India; and AMA International University, Bahrain.

Throughout Dr. Sudarsan’s academic career, subjects taught span a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate topics including Software Engineering, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Programming Languages, Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, System Software, Machine Learning, and Data Science.

Dr. Sudarsan has actively contributed to research and academic development, publishing 22+ research papers in reputed SCI/SCIE and Scopus-indexed journals and international conferences, in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Image Processing, and Pattern Recognition. Dr. Sudarsan holds a copyright for a Mentoring Application (2023), along with professional certifications including IBM AI certifications, NPTEL courses, and certifications from Amazon and Oracle.
