Ms. Divyaba Pravinsinh Gohil

Ms. Divyaba Pravinsinh Gohil is an Assistant Professor at the University of Stirling, Ras Al Khaimah Campus, UAE. Ms. Gohil is an academician, researcher, and finance educator with over 16 years of teaching experience across India and the UAE, specializing in finance and economics. Her teaching approach integrates research-led learning with industry-oriented practices, equipping students with analytical, critical thinking, and professional skills required in the global business environment.

She is currently pursuing a PhD at the Indian Institute of Management Shillong, where her research focuses on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), sustainable finance, institutional quality, and bank stability. She holds an MBA in Finance from the Department of Business Management at Sankalchand Patel College of Engineering. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), demonstrating her commitment to excellence in higher education.

Ms. Gohil has taught a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Financial Management, Financial Reporting, International Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis, Accounting for Managers, Economics, Quantitative Methods, and Research Methods. She has also contributed to academic coordination, student mentoring, research supervision, and guest lectures. She has actively participated in national and international conferences, faculty development programs, and academic collaborations.

Her research interests include ESG and bank stability, sustainable banking, green finance, climate risk, institutional quality, financial inclusion, FinTech, digital banking, and corporate governance. Through publications and conference presentations, she contributes to research that promotes resilient and sustainable financial systems.

Ms. Gohil also served as a second-tier Board Member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). She established the IMA Student Chapter of the University of Stirling Accounting and Finance Year 4 students in 2025, which was active until November 2026. She led professional development initiatives until November 2026. She remains committed to fostering industry-academia collaboration and developing globally competent, ethically responsible, and practice-ready graduates.
