Dr. Narina Thakur

Dr. Narina Thakur is an experienced academician with over 23 years of teaching experience in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology. A PhD in Computer Science and Engineering was earned from Amity University Uttar Pradesh, India, with core foundational expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, and Advanced Algorithm Design. Major research specializations include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Data Science, and Information Retrieval, with MOHESR Equivalency in the UAE also obtained.

An M.Tech in Information Technology was completed from Punjab Technical University, India, with specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Data Structure and Analysis of Algorithms, Advanced Operating Systems, Software Engineering, Discrete Structures, Database Engineering, Computer System Architecture, Logic Programming, Fuzzy Systems & Neural Networks, and System Simulation & Modelling. A Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering was also completed as a Gold Medalist from Himachal Pradesh University, with strong academic foundations in Programming & Development, Systems & Core Computing, and Emerging Technologies.

Over 3 years of teaching experience in the UAE include association with the University of Stirling since August 2024, and approximately 2 years with Amity University Dubai prior to this. An additional 18 years of academic teaching experience was gained in India across various universities and higher educational institutions.
