Dr. Nikhil VP

Dr. Nikhil is Associate Professor (Management) and Program Director for the BSc Management program at the University of Stirling, Ras Al Khaimah Campus, United Arab Emirates, where he has served since 2018.

With more than 16 years of combined experience in higher education and industry across the UAE and India, he brings a practice-oriented approach to teaching and academic leadership. His work integrates research-led teaching, student-centred learning, and industry relevance to develop globally competent graduates equipped for today's dynamic business environment.

Dr. Nikhil holds a Doctorate in Management, and an MBA in Marketing Management. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK.

Dr. Nikhil’s key teaching areas include Marketing Management, Responsible Business, and International Business.

Dr. Nikhil's research focuses on contemporary marketing and management issues with practical relevance to business and society. He has presented papers at various national and international conferences in India and the Middle East, receiving the Best Presentation Award at the Global Issues in Multidisciplinary Academic Research conference held in Dubai in 2015. His research papers have been published in ABDC- and Scopus-indexed journals, and he continues to contribute to scholarly research through conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Nikhil serves as a Member of the Board of Examinations for PhD scholars at Bharathiar University, India. He is also a Lifetime Member of the Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD), reflecting his continued commitment to professional development and academic excellence.
