Teaching Associate
Dr. Rezaan Zahir is a Teaching Associate at the University of Stirling, Ras Al Khaimah Campus, UAE, with over eight years of academic experience across higher education and secondary education in the UAE and India. She specializes in Marketing, Management, and Business Studies, combining research-led teaching with practical business applications to create engaging learning experiences. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes critical thinking, industry relevance, and preparing students to succeed in an increasingly global business environment.
Dr. Rezaan holds a Ph.D. in Commerce (Marketing) from Bharathiar University. Her academic qualifications include an M.Phil. in Commerce (Marketing), an M.Com with Computer Applications, and a B.Com with Computer Applications.
Prior to joining the University of Stirling, Dr. Rezaan served as a Business Lecturer and academic coordinator in leading educational institutions in the UAE and India. She has taught students across secondary, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels and has contributed to curriculum development, academic leadership, and student mentoring.
Her teaching areas focus on Management and Marketing, with expertise in strategic marketing, digital marketing, consumer behavior, brand management, entrepreneurship, human resource management, business research, financial management, and e-commerce. She is equipped with the knowledge and skills to develop effective business strategies, enhance organizational performance, and drive sustainable growth in dynamic business environments.
Her research focuses on contemporary marketing and consumer behavior, with particular emphasis on digital consumer behavior, social media marketing, brand positioning, influencer marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), and emerging marketing trends. She has published research in peer-reviewed journals and continues to contribute to scholarly work that advances understanding of evolving consumer behavior and modern business practices.
