Dr. Sanman Jain Nellikar

Dr. Sanman Jain Nellikar is Programme Director – Accounting & Finance Division at the University of Stirling, Ras Al Khaimah Campus, UAE, with over 23 years of combined higher education experience across India, the Sultanate of Oman, and the United Arab Emirates, complemented by five years of industry experience in finance, management, consultancy, and corporate leadership. His work focuses on academic leadership, accounting and finance education, curriculum development, quality assurance, research-led teaching, industry engagement, and the development of globally competent, practice-ready graduates.

He holds a PhD in Commerce from the University of Rajasthan, India, with doctoral research titled "Evaluation of the Functioning of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI)," which examined the effectiveness of India's capital market regulatory framework in strengthening investor protection and market development. He also holds an MBA (Finance) from Mangalore University and an M.A. (Economics) from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, India. His professional credentials include Senior Fellow of Advance HE (SFHEA), Certified Practising Accountant (CPA Australia), Certified Management Accountant (CMA Australia), Certified Global Business Analyst (CGBA) awarded by the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA Australia), Fellow of the Association of International Accountants (AIA, UK), and Full Member of the American Accounting Association (AAA). He has also completed the Faculty Development Programme in Case Writing, Case Research, and Case Analysis at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad).

Dr. Jain has held academic and leadership positions at the University of Nizwa (Oman), Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Shobhit University, and several other higher education institutions in India. Prior to his academic career, he served as General Manager at Asia Foods LLC and Chief Financial Officer & Partner at GBH Management Consultancy, Oman, enabling him to integrate industry expertise with academic practice.
