Dr. Sanman Jain Nellikar is an accomplished academician and industry professional with over 20 years of combined teaching and industry experience in the fields of Accounting, Finance, Management, and Economics. Dr. Jain is currently associated with the University of Stirling as Programme Director in the Accounting & Finance Division at the Stirling Business School, Ras Al Khaimah Campus, UAE, since 28 September 2023.
Dr. Jain holds a Ph.D. in Commerce with specialization in Finance from the University of Rajasthan, with a thesis focused on the “Evaluation of Functioning of Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI).” Academic qualifications further include an MBA in Finance from Mangalore University and an MA in Economics from CCS University, along with several Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), professional development certifications, and Quality Improvement Programmes focusing on Professional Growth, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Corporate Restructuring, and emerging educational practices. Core foundational expertise lies in Finance, Accounting, Management, and Economics, with major research specializations in Financial Management, Green Banking, Risk Management, and Capital Markets.
Dr. Jain possesses more than 10 years of teaching experience in the GCC region, having served in various academic and administrative capacities across reputed universities and higher education institutions in India, Oman, and the UAE. Prior to joining the University of Stirling RAK Campus, roles included Assistant Professor at Jain Deemed-to-be University and University of Nizwa, along with several academic positions at reputed universities and colleges in India, contributing significantly to undergraduate and postgraduate education.

In addition to academic expertise, Dr. Jain has around 5 years of industry experience, having served as General Manager and Chief Finance Officer (CFO) in consultancy and business organizations in the Sultanate of Oman, including the role of CFO & Management Consultant at Grand Business House LLC. This industry exposure has enabled an effective bridge between academic theory and practical business applications.
Dr. Jain has actively contributed to research and academic development through numerous research publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals, with research contributions primarily focused on Finance, Management, Economics, Risk Management, Banking, and emerging technologies in business and education. Dr. Jain has also served as a reviewer and editorial board member for various international journals and has participated in several academic conferences, seminars, and professional engagements.
Professional certifications and memberships include Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), along with professional qualifications such as CPA and AIA with active memberships. Dr. Jain is also associated with professional academic and accounting bodies, including membership in EAAA and other professional organizations.
