Dr. Arora, has led several initiatives guided by the centre’s inspiring philosophy ‘From imagination to Impact’. This initiative views education as a significant enabler of transformation and socioeconomic developments with the potential to impact communities locally and globally and aligns with Planet One’s strategy to deliver the best in applied education.
Under her visionary leadership Stirling, RAK campus has established itself as a prominent Transnational higher education provider in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Several new initiatives to reinforce the overarching ‘imagination to impact’; such as encouraging teaching responsibilities toward new skills and higher education fellowships, and a new campus thought-design-for-purpose environment with attending student activities have given both students and teachers a holistic-driven new learning and teaching experiences. All these attributing factors continue to provide enhancement to the centre’s core philosophy: from imagination to impact. These quality-driven initiatives have culminated in a recent Quality evaluation ranking (QAA 2023) organised by the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), which resulted in the Stirling, RAK campus as a “Gold” achiever.
Under Dr. Richa’s guidance, the University of Stirling, and RAK centre’s corporate connections have grown at a considerable pace, both in value and utility for students and teachers alike. She was instrumental in initiating new corporate connectivity, nationally and internationally, through industry-specific HR forums, workshops, seminars, and corporate leader invites to complement the program curricula at the centre. Dr Arora's commitment to holistic student development is evident in the comprehensive initiatives undertaken at Stirling, RAK campus. The emphasis extends beyond traditional education to encompass sports, employability skills, and successful final placements. The institution's approach ensures that students are not only academically proficient but also equipped with the practical skills and experiences necessary for success in the professional world.

Dr. Richa’s initiatives with the British and Indian councils in the UAE, and other such joint ventures with various organizations enhanced the centre’s partnerships and engagements in further pursuit of education-related activities. These were followed by several entrepreneurship acceleration programs at the centre under the supervision of business leaders followed by the creation of the centre’s first innovation hub.

Prior to her role at the Stirling RAK campus, Dr Arora's journey into transformative leadership unfolded during her tenure as the Group CEO and Director of Regenesys Business School, starting in 2014. Guided by her visionary leadership, the institution experienced a remarkable ascent, characterized by significant revenue growth, the digitization of academia, and a substantial impact on research, expanding its influence across Africa and Asia. A pinnaclea chievement under her leadership was the establishment of Digital Regenesys—an Online University—symbolizing the institution's commitment to delivering accessible, high-quality education in the digital age. Dr. Arora, with a background in environmental engineering and marketing, stands among the select few sponsored by the Indian Government for the study and research of marine life along the western coast of India. In addition to her academic pursuits, Dr. Richa is a proficient scuba diver and harbours a deep passion for outdoor sports and travel.

The Head of the Institution and COO is the Chief Academic and Administrative Officer of the University of Stirling RAK campus The head of the Institution presides over the Academic Council and, as a COO, deputises for the running of the University.
As Chief Operating Officer of the University, She is responsible by Statute for the effective working and good order of the University. With overall responsibility for the executive management and day-to-day activities of the University, the COO is to discharge her responsibilities.
